  • Vlogging on a Budget! with Taylor Nardone
         
    A course designed for those of all ages to learn the fundamentals of creating a vlog destined for YouTube success WITHOUT fancy gadgets. (They aren’t necessary!) Capturing elements of editing, content, and promotion, this course will prepare you to begin your journey as a vlogger, or give you the right tools to begin when you’re ready.

  • Uku-Late Night with Eric Robbins
         
    Come to a beginner’s workshop in ukulele! Eric will teach the basics of how to play the ukulele, including some music theory and playing technique. Bring a friend, meet others, and learn how to jam with your uke!

  • On Our Way to Music with Emma Mills Brennan
        
    Serving as an introduction to music theory for young children, this class exposes mini-musicians to music through interactive singing, playing percussion instruments, and other hands-on learning activities. This fun and active class is designed to be an invaluable musical foundation for your child moving forward.
        
    6 sessions | Wednesdays 5PM or Saturdays 10AM | Start Date: Nov. 6 or 9 | 45 minutes | $149

 

  • Music Theory & Composition with Jason Stripinis
       
    This course is for someone, who may or may not know how to play an instrument, but knows nothing academic about music. The following principles will be covered — The Basics: Sound and Silence, Pitch and Duration; Music Notation: Staffs, Clefs, Time and Key Signatures; Scales; Chords: Triads, 4-Voice Chords, Tensions, Triads over Bass Notes, Polychords; and Harmony. The overall framework will be within the Berklee/”Jazz Harmony” framework (i.e., Tonic, Subdominant, Dominant as the building blocks of functional harmony, rather than the classical method)
